Kindergarten Photo Shoot

I can't believe my Juju started Kindergarten this past Wednesday! She was so excited and sprinted onto the bus without looking back. I am sad to see her growing up so fast, but happy for the wonderful adventures she will experience and new friends she will meet in the coming school year. To commemorate the occasion we staged a little photo shoot in the backyard.

I'm a proud mommy.  Miss JuJu is already reading and writing on her own!

And of course I had to incorporate a few chemistry props into the photo shoot.

For the bunting, I designed the chevron striped backgrounds in PicMonkey. After printing on card stock, I cut out the pennants and glued on die cut letters from the dollar store. I used bright colored paperclips to attach the pennants to a piece of twine strung between two trees.

  6. I love this photo shoot idea. And the cool old school desk. I recently picked up one from a rummage sale. Did you paint the metal the blueish color?

    1. That's the original paint. I had thought about changing it but decided to leave well enough alone.
