Are you looking for a simple and elegant way to display all of the gorgeous fall leaves you or your children have been collecting? I needed to do something with the growing pile that my children had on the coffee table and decided to hang our leaves as a series of vertical garlands on the hutch.
To begin, I pressed the leaves between the pages of a heavy book for two days. Next I brushed a coat of slightly watered-down white glue on each side of the leaves to preserve them. And when dry, I hot-glued the leaves along the length of a satin ribbon. After hanging them on the hutch, the only thing left to do was to stand back and admire the colorful autumn foliage!
So pretty! :-)

How cool to use REAL leaves! I love that it brings the essence of fall inside. How long do they last? Found your link through "just us four" I'm pinning it now!
