On Friday night, Miss Juju and I had a mommy-daughter date. We ate at a nice restaurant, then went to Disney on Ice with her Girl Scout troop. As soon as we walked into the arena, Juju raced to a table displaying rows and rows of rainbow snow cones. I groaned as I imagined the smorgasbord of artificial flavors and colors, and the stains on her shirt from the inevitable drips. Thinking quickly I said, "It's supposed to snow on Sunday. I will make a REAL snow cone for you and it will taste a hundred times better than these!"
It couldn't be any easier to make Maple Snow. Collect a bowl of fresh snow.
Make a snowball.
Drizzle with maple syrup.
Yum!
YUM!! I miss living where it snows. We hardly ever snow in the south. It looks like they enjoyed it very much. :) Stopping by and following on bloglovin' and G+ from Let's Get Social! Have a great week.

Ever since reading about this treat I believe in Little House On The Prairie I've been wanting to try it myself, no luck yet! Thanks for sharing on craft schooling Sunday!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I want a sugar maple tree so we can make our own syrup really bad after learning about them during our lessons on plants. MMMMMM, with real snow.
